Duke, Istanbul

Based in Istanbul’s Trump Towers, this restaurant aimed to bring a little bit of British culture and cuisine to Turkey, thus forming a clear direction for the brand. A Duke’s Coat of Arms was created as a device where various elements representing the two countries could co-exist harmoniously, whilst also giving our winged ‘Duke’ character a home. This is complemented by a bright colour palette and a series of Duke character illustrations that add a playful, witty element to what could have easily become a quite staid, overly traditional “British” look and feel.
