Positioning Nonna Malfi as a brand that resonates with families meant emphasizing simplicity, affordability, and heartwarming Italian traditions. The brand embodies the essence of Nonna’s know-how: combining simple ingredients with bold flavors to create effortless feasts. The identity is driven by a charming Nonna mascot, creating a relatable and heartwarming face for the brand. This is reinforced by the strapline, “Nonna makes everything right,” highlighting her dual role as a culinary expert and a comforting family figure. Packaging stands out with a bold colour palette inspired by the vibrant painted architecture of the Amalfi Coast. Typographic treatments amplify the brand’s Italian flair, adding an element of playful flamboyance. The result is a warm, fuss-free identity that embodies simple, delicious Italian food to share with loved ones. Nonna Malfi will soon expand into breadsticks and more.
