Ealing Studios
Ealing Studios, the world’s oldest continuously operating film studio, has been a cornerstone of British cinema for over a century. From the beloved Ealing comedies to groundbreaking contemporary works, its legacy is woven into the fabric of the industry.
Now, with a significant redevelopment introducing state-of-the-art production facilities and modern office spaces, the studio is entering an exciting new chapter. It was the perfect moment to bring the brand into the 21st century, creating an identity that reflected Ealing’s rich history while aligning it with its bold, forward-looking ambitions..

The task was clear: reimagine Ealing Studios’ identity to honor its storied past while preparing it for the future. With modern facilities designed for contemporary creatives, the brand needed to strike a balance between heritage and innovation. Our first priority was to evolve the existing, iconic logo, ensuring it retained its historical resonance while feeling fresh and future-facing. We crafted a visual and verbal identity that captured Ealing’s enduring cultural significance and embraced its evolving role as a hub for creativity and production in the modern era.
The new identity draws from Ealing’s cinematic legacy and its architectural future. A rich color palette, inspired by vintage Ealing Studios film posters, pairs with typography reflecting the Art Deco influences of the redevelopment. At its heart are illustrations by Jonas Bergstrand—stylish, contemporary, and steeped in heritage, they evoke Ealing’s golden age without feeling nostalgic.
With these design elements in place, we developed compelling marketing materials to promote the studio’s new book and highlight its refurbished facilities, presenting Ealing Studios as a vibrant meeting point of history and innovation.
