With Royal Portrush Golf Club on its doorstep and the rich history of Dunluce Castle nearby, the lodge blends world-class hospitality with a deep sense of place. Offering refined suites, exceptional dining, and serene spa experiences, it invites guests to immerse themselves in the dramatic landscapes and storied past of this iconic coastline. We were entrusted with creating a brand identity that would not only reflect the lodge’s exceptional offering but also embody the spirit, heritage and beauty of its surroundings.

Working with our sister company, Atalanta, our approach to branding was guided by the unique interplay between luxury and landscape. Set against the untamed beauty of the North Coast, the hotel demanded an identity that deeply connected to its surroundings. We embraced the region’s rich history, folklore, and natural drama, crafting a brand that’s elegant without pretension. Warm Irish hospitality, modern sophistication, and a deep respect for place shaped every element—creating an identity that feels both timeless and forward-looking, rooted in authenticity while setting a bold new standard for luxury in Northern Ireland.
The brand identity is anchored by an abstract symbol inspired by the Portrush crest, which features 16 core elements. A refined colour palette subtly evokes Ireland without cliché, while wildflowers from the region—photographed through linen—create a striking visual asset full of movement and intensity, reflecting the dynamic landscape. Hand-painted illustrations further enrich the identity, blending the organic fluidity of watercolor with an intentionally elegant finish. With the brand extending across three internal sub-brands—including in-room chocolate, luxurious leather menu folders, and golf apparel—the result is a flexible yet cohesive system that is elegant, distinctive, and impactful both locally and beyond.
